Sorry, but that doesn't do much for me. Kinda sub subcompact looking. CAW

That Mack design reminds me of some of the trucks in GTA:4, I'm not a fan lol. How is the model quality though? Facebook: NorCalDiecastCustomsInstagram: NorCalDiecastCustomsClifton

The Keystone is a very interesting looking truck with the slopped rooftop. Model wise as I have said, the cab looks very detailed, so does the hood. Do not like how long the wheelbase is or the lack of details on the frame (frame steps, toolbox or auxiliary hydraulic tank) and also do not like the fact that the 5th wheel is non sliding. A vocational tractor in real life without a sliding 5th wheel is pretty much useless. Wish Conrad would update their 5th wheel system. Visually, its still a decent looking model though!

Well, I have taken a couple of looks at this new truck...someone slapped a Bulldog on a Volvo designed partly by Elon Musk... As Cat345bl said, it needs a shorter frame. I think they just used the same frame as the dump and mixer. There is very little chrome, only the wheels and air horns. The paint has a dull finish, kind of a semi gloss shade. The cab and frame casting are very crisp, mirrors, air horns, grill, and bumper are nicely detailed, has Mack differentials, front wheels turn and the tires are nice. The wheels are 5 hole Budds, and usually you find them painted white or gray. The hood and doors do not open ( I never cared for opening doors, and only a few opening hoods where the engine was a Mack V8) and use caution if you remove the screw in the front that holds the hood, it goes all the way up though the radiator and barely catches the flange on the hood. I was not happy with the paint on the fuel tanks, and Conrad still uses the same fifth wheel (with the release handle on the right, not the left) so you might need to put a brass tubing bushing in it for a smaller 5th wheel pin on some of the new trailers. MACK certainly could have done better with this truck in real life. I am adding a few items to dress it up a little.

Thanks for the run down, Ken. Sounds like it's a decent enough model. Facebook: NorCalDiecastCustomsInstagram: NorCalDiecastCustomsClifton
