Ian, just watched the review of the JCB 467, at the end you say its highly recommended but it says recommended in the review window.

This was a model I would have liked but the lack of bucket height and carry angle has put me off a little.

Have a look at my 467 pics on CNN! There's nothing wrong with the lift height on my review model and it's not modified! Cracking model!

I've had this model for almost a year now, but never realised the functioning crusher opening.

I'm starting to side with the Cranes Etc workforce - the way they're treated is downright appalling. Maybe they need a holiday?

Maybe you should let them out once in a while. That way they could meet some ladies...

Just caught the review of the F and G Motorart A40's great looking models but what a shocker with the tipping angle!,whats a dump truck if it can't dump? rear axle oscillation is ugly too,I haven't bought a Motorart model in a long long time,my run continues,

Appreciate the reviews Ian,you highlight some hidden gems and also some surprising duds

Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"?

... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Excellent reviews, thanks for all of your great effort.

In the video (at 2:32) you pointed out two small black components that were not identified in the sparse instructions, that are rounded on one end with two prongs on the other. These are actually headrests for the operator seats. Care must be taken to remove these items prior to lowering the canopy for transport mode.

Sorry this wasn't mentioned earlier, but I only just received my version of the model. Take care and all the best.

Just wait until he reviews those H series loaders...absolute rubbish!

Ian,

I realize that you get the models gratis, and that you don't want to jeopardize that continuing; but how can you give this thing a "highly recommended" rating and sleep at night?

I rather like the new A40s actually. That dump angle is the only negative I can see, and even that would seem to be fixable with a bit of filing or modifying of some sort. Great looking models, nice grille detailing, nice paint, good graphics, satisfying metal content and weight. I like my A25 and A40 very much, so these look like a step up (if you ignore the dump issue) and if I find them at a good price someday, I'll get one!

Agree with you Jamie! I love the A25D! So much so I've got 2 n looking to buy a third! I just wish they'd update it! I know they did the A25E but they are rarer than rocking horse turds! I'd love to see an A25F/G!

Ian, do you no anything about the Volvo BL71B model that was supposed to be happening? Not seen or heard anything about it at all!
