Paul, beautiful collection you have there! Do you happen to have the WSI Scania Silo Melmer? Or the Scania Thürhagen with blade? Any good pictures of either? One day I hope to find one of each but I'm sure they will be well out of my price range, just like my dream of a Mammoet ZX870.

Hi Kyle,

Thurhagens you can view here: http://forum.dhsdiecast.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1181326

I have all but the first Silo Melmer and a couple of them can be viewed here: http://forum.dhsdiecast.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1190065

Just scroll down a ways in both cases.

Alan Finnie Scania 8x4 with Broshuis 2+6 trailer:

This model features the newest tooling from WSI in the form of the Broshuis trailer. Some points I would make:

I couldn't wait so got some better photos! I do not think anyone will be disapponted with this model. Along with the points mentioned in my previous post, I can add:

1. No loose or broken parts!
2. Nice weight to the truck and trailer.
3. Instructions for the trailer are provided and nicely done. On the other side is some info about the trailers and some pictures.
4. Good steering on the trailer and all wheels roll smoothly, even when at the maximum angle.
5. A little tool is included that helps put the pins in place to hold the neck and two deck parts together.
6. It really is a cracking model.

A couple of show trucks for a Saturday afternoon!

Barbonaglia Nordic Dream:

Guldager Picaso:

This next one is not in the WSI show truck range but arguably should have been.

If I won the lottery I think I would buy the 1:1 version of the Nordic Dream and use it as my run around. What a wicked looking wagon Cool

Wow Paul, that Black Bastard show truck looks wild. WSI did an excellent job on that truck.

Very nice Paul! I'm glad to see that you continue to expand your Australian collection. Any plans for the new 7 line trailers and accessories pack with a dedicated prime mover for it?

Hoping to pick up NQ Group platform with a C509 or the McAlleese version.

How about the improvement on the gooseneck?

And the overall quality? The quality goes down a bit when Drake taking it from TWH

What improvement in the gooseneck?
And the quality is just as good from when TWH had the tooling.

I have around 15 combos now and see no difference between them all.

The gooseneck on the bucket carrier is different from the first release of the 4 axle trailer. The bucket trailer gooseneck does have an unsightly rivet attachment (for the pivot point of the adjustable gooseneck) that is bare metal and definitely could have done with a dab of paint. The adjustability is fine and it hasn't sagged with a load on it. Overall the quality between the first release and the bucket trailer is very comparable and many of the castings have been carried over to the new model.

Hope this helps. Take care and all the best.

The hydraulic good neck is actually a $16,000(according to a Mcaleese driver) option. The only trailer that it's standard on is the platform.

The original trailer would have been tooled off a stock standard trailer.
