digggerr wrote:I wish you success in your new endeavour and hope that it will result with your withdrawal from this forum as well as the other forums you plague. So what do you call a self-appointed model critic who's ego has grown to the point that he thinks his opinions are worth up to $100/month for your name mentioned in a video, a few dollars off a model he likely received gratis and more? The Manky Wanker!!! ...and now let the minions flame away... You should stop plaguing us with your presents. Your constantly negetive. I think in the 4 years I've been part of this forum you have made 1 positive comment. Plus you like to threaten people in nasty private messages. You sir are the Wanker

Thanks Ian for all you do. Digggerr why the vitriol? How can a person making some videos and reviews for the enjoyment of others inspire such hostility and Maliciousness?? I truly cannot comprehend how posts on an internet forum can result in this.

Digggerr, I'm going to be fully honest here. I have noticed that lately you have been contributing on a positive note to some other members threads. Everybody appreciates it. But when you troll people like this, no one's really a fan of that. Like Jake said, Youtube has been killing certain channels with the ad revenue- and for many, that is their main source of income. This is how Ian affords to purchase these models that he reviews. If the ad revenue hit him, what do you want him to do??? He reviews all these models in order to give us knowledge on what models to buy and to not buy. Ian's reviews are probably some of the most quality on Youtube, and I know he puts time into them, because it shows. I trust him in the things he says, and I know others do to. And even though I have never met any of you guys on the forum in person, I trust you guys also. So David, I did not mean to offend you in any way- I'm just trying to make a point. -Jo (sorry for the long post)

Keep up the great work Ian,with over 120,000 subscribers and over 160,000,000 views since Feb 2011, I think the numbers speak for themselves, poor digggerr seems to have it bad,oh well
Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"?
... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt
The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

Keep up the good work Ian. If the critic had a little more class, he would have been calling himself an 'excavator'. But hey, I ain't throwing any stones at anyone. Just here to enjoy the hobby and all the pleasure it brings to me and those who share it with me.

Great news for you Ian. I am so happy for you. You have helped me make decisions on models for many years. I will miss those reviews. Don't worry about "diggger the punk" comments. He was probably bullied as a youngster and still has few friends I would imagine. I don't know why Chuck allows him to stay on the Forum. Anyway Ian, I am looking at your site and thinking about joining. Best of everything. CAW

As someone who has joined Ian's site, I definitely recommend it. I had a question about my Mlc650 and I asked him about it. Within hours I had a reply from Ian saying he would have a diagram for me in the morning and sure enough he did. I really do appreciate the time he takes to make his reviews and share them with us. Thanks again Ian!

Many thanks for the kind words of support above! I would like to just make clear that no subscriptions are required to carry on accessing the model reviews. Patreon is a voluntary way to provide support for the work. Volvo FH4 'Sitca'The review of this model is now on Cranes Etc.
