Hi Guys,
well no doubt the LTM11200 Mammoet is taking all the limelight right now, and for all the right reasons! However, I hope you spare a thought for these smaller guys. I picked them up a couple of weeks ago but have just now only had time to take some pictures. Due to weather, I have had to take them indoors and I don't have any special lights and stuff so I can't say I am that happy with these pics but.......... My plan is to take some more next week when I have more time Teeth

Also have the LTM1200-5.1 Thomen that I want to shoot, but hope to do this outside.

I have to say that these are great models and full of detail. Ian did a great review of these models (Cranes Etc) (and took a lot better pictures!)and I agree 100% with his comments.

Yes those are great looking models for sure-darn why do they have to release so many at xmas??? The wallet is already deflated!!

Very nice paul..but with due deference to the 11200 9.1(nzg).the TWH models would still have the edge on detail (thus refelected in the price dept) ....have you got the LTM volvo fh 16.. ..congrats. Teeth

Its difficult to get good indoor pics of models alright, my mammoet 11200 pics are pretty poor but what harm these pics look good.

Maybe you'll get some interesting outdoor pics of models in the snow this year if the weather forecasts and the snow in some parts of the UK are anything to go by.. they'd be pretty damn cool! Cool

Thanks for the compliment on the Cranes Etc review Paul. I have now posted a review of the GMK 5095 also. Like you I have both models in Wiesbauer and they look great.

Took the opportunity today to take some more pictures of these models. I won't go as far to say it is a diorama but it was a half hearted attempt Confused

I'll bear that in mind Wink

They are a great pair of cranes for sure. I think that they have somehow slipped under a lot of people radar as they don't seem to have been talked about much.

Cool pics paul, you took my advice on some pics in the snow afterall! Smile

I think the price of them here in europe is the main reason they've slipped under most peoples radar as you said. Take the 5 axle version for around €360, an extra 30 quid and you can have a standard 11200! That must definitely have thrown an awful lot of people off buying or even talking about them Think

damn Homer I would not even think about one at that price someone is really gouging at that price! I just did the conversion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is 514usd, I can buy BOTH 4 and 5 axle cranes for thatin the US!!! Just nuts, that is how i feel when I buy WSI overseas!

Finally got a chance to photograph the LTM 1200-5.1 in the livery of Thomen. I have always been a fan of the LTM 1200-5.1 and I really like the Thomen livery. It lacks the fine detail now found on some other models but nonetheless, it is heavy well made model. For a more comprehensive review, check out Cranes Etc

EXCELENT..series of winter photo's..it really has brought the models to life..you really are a pro on that camera of yours Applause

And the snow that has been a bonus to some(the kids) has really hammered more right acoss the uk,europe and the us..just emember the lads and lass's of the emergency services, are worth their weight in gold ..,

Paul all you pics are worthy of calander..maybe 2011???
