I bought two old knackered 1:87 Conrad P&H 2800 shovels a while back. This one I've turned into a 1:50 P&H 1400.
I'll probably do the same with the next one, but finish it in red, white and black with a few changes to some of the details. They both also need smaller track frames which I think I've found - Joal CAT 375.
I have one old donor model, but don't want to butcher a good one!
The body is built from pine, clad in styrene, with brass fittings.
