Here is my HHR Mack Superliner. Hats off to HHR, you hit it out of the park! This is one fantastic model! No flaws in the paint or chrome, tires. This model has the Mack V8 (with the V8 symbol on the hood), amber marker lights on top of the bumper guides, and Mack camel back suspension (44,000?), and a Mack transmission (probably a 12 spd). With all Mack drive components the bulldog should be gold. I have it paired with a Conrad Talbert, Sword Rogers, and a Norscot Trailking lowboy. I lettered it for Helders Motor Service. (They used to be a Chicago Lowboy Company). I like the way this one is set up and am not going to run it by the work bench! Hi Ken, great pics and trailer combinations of your Macks! Thank you for sharing! I ordered the Heavy Spec version in white which that arrived last week that I have yet to open up. I heard that the king pin has to be modified on the Sword trailers to work with the HHR Superliner 5th wheel system? It is so great to see HHR releasing these type trucks and I am really looking for the future truck and trailer releases they have in the works.

Thanks cat20. I have the decals made at Graphics on Demand, they are place and stick, not water slide.

Thanks Cat345bl. The 5th wheel pin on the Rogers trailer won't lock, but you can slide it in up to the lock. I have replaced most of my trailer pins with brass rod, and if needed a piece of brass tubing on in the tractor 5th wheel to make the hole smaller. It's great to have more detailed American trucks (especially Macks) and trailers to chose from.

Ken That could be one of your best. Love the Rogers with it. It has so much detail as the Mack does. Hope you are well. Q

Great job Ken. Those graphics really set the trucks off.
I also have the yellow Superliner and agree with you, they are great models.

Thanks Gregg. Yes, the"place and stick" decals are a lot more user friendly than water slides. I have used them for over 20 years. I went to water slide for a while and went back to the place and stick. They can print white on clear paper, are paper thin, and their printer can cut them out. I just use "windex" on the model and put a little on the decal, that way you can slide them around where you want them. I use a Xato knife to lift them from their backing and a Q tip to absorb the extra liquid and to roll any air bubbles out. They are very durable and don't rip apart, even if you have a long one.
I really like the rubber tire roller. There were two versions, the first had staggerd steps, and the second (like this one) has straight steps. They are still in use around here, but they are Ingorsol Rand's.

I have both of those versions plus one in green with ALBARET across the front. Thanks for the decal tips, I plan to try that company in the near future.
