I finally finished a 1/50 1st. Gear Chicago, IL DOT Mack Granite 4 axle tractor I converted from a dump truck with a Talbert lowboy hauling an Ertl Case 921 loader. I added the headache rack, drop axle, deck plate, tool boxes, air lines and boxes, rear fenders, beacon lights, decals on the loader, and a new oversize load sign to the trailer. All parts are metal except the rear sign, lights., and hoses. The ERTL loader is one of the best detailed models they have made.😁 100_5599 by Ken Wheeler, on Flickr"/> 100_5600 by Ken Wheeler, on Flickr"/> 100_5601 by Ken Wheeler, on Flickr"/> 100_5602 by Ken Wheeler, on Flickr"/> 100_5603 by Ken Wheeler, on Flickr"/> 100_5604 by Ken Wheeler, on Flickr"/> 100_5605 by Ken Wheeler, on Flickr"/> 100_5607 by Ken Wheeler, on Flickr"/>

Great job Ken. I don't like the Chicago colors however. But you work makes up for that. CAW

Thank you CAW and cat20, I appreciate the comments. That carmal color Chicago used to use was a real pain to match. I have an automotive paint store near me, and they can match Acrylic Enamel 100% spot on and put in spray cans.
