In Holland, transfer between 2 gravel extraction sites:





Scania-Vabis LT 110 Super 6x4/2 tractor with dropside body (modified(*) NZG model) loaded with an unknown brand dragline bucket for crawler crane (NZG element) and towing a Scheuerle T 5041 L 2+2-line semi-trailer with extra-low bed (NZG model), carrying a 54.7 tonnes Weserhütte W180 lattice dragline (modified(*) NZG model) and a lattice boom extension (NZG element),





Note (*): normally towing a similar 3+3-line Scheuerle trailer, the Scania-Vabis tractor had its guiding poles glued (both broken as very fragile); the Weserhütte crane had its pulley lifting frame lowered for the transfer (by removing rear rivets), its right rear access ladder repaired (fragile) and its right access path glued again.

The re-edition of Solido tanks 1/50 models by Hachette was triggering the increase of my collection at low cost:





- left: Zavod No114/Omsktransmash T34/76-1943 battle tank fitted with a 76.2mm cannon and 2x7.62mm machine guns (modified(*) Solido-Hachette model),
- right: Zavod No112/Krasnoye-Sormovo T34/85-1944 battle tank with a 85mm cannon and 2x7.62mm machine-guns (modified(*) Solido-Hachette model),

Note (*): antennas were added (missing search lights) on both tanks and the tank body machine-gun re-glued on the left model.

I wonder why these 2 Solido models are today so expensive on the second-hand market (is it because of their rarity?).

The Red Army was aware of their main battle tank weaknesses and the T34-76 evolved in a T34-85, with, among other things, its wider 3-man turret and a more powerful cannon:
