A tanker semi-trailer from the 60s:   - Scania-Vabis LT110 4x2/2 tractor: WSI model, - Micromax ???? 2-axle tanker semi-trailer: Tekno model being modified(*),   Note (*): the model received a WSI-type king pin and lerger tires; Sania-Vabis logos were removed, replaced by a Shell logo at rear. To be added landing legs and an access ladder, then Shell logos on both sides. To be continued. Guy

Produced by Tekno in Danmark, this tanker was an enigma for a long time, although numerous scandinavian tankers were produced with single tyre tandems:   The approaching model was of US-origin, but with dual-tyres:  The answer was found on "tekno samleren", from Th. Hendricsson (in danish, sorry), grand-son of the tanker builder, who produced such tankers under the Micromax brand, today disappeared, and which could be used as an example by Tekno predecessor.   MAN 30-321 DFT 6x4/2 tractor and Meiller MHKS 38 2-axle tipping semi-trailer (modified(*) Conrad models),   Notes (*): tractor's rear view mirrors were glued; semi-trailer front ram was glued, so were the landing legs in vertical position with new jockey wheels (to be painted). Regards. Guy

  - Mercedes-Benz 207D 4x2/2 dropside van (modified(*) Conrad model), loaded with an Hardoll gas pump (Corgi element) and towing a Saris F30 dropside 2-axle trailer (modified(*) NZG model),   Notes (*): the van recieved a caravan-type coupling on its rear fender (to be painted) while the trailer had its coupling modified to adapt to the van one.   - MAN TGS 18-320 4x2/2 wrecker truck with sliding CEV P 500G flatbed with winch (320hp, PTAC: 19T, PTRA: 44T, payload: 5T): Siku model being modified(*), - Studebaker Golden Hawk 4x2/2 coupé car (275hp, weight:1.57T, capacity: 4/5 pax): modified(*) Corgi Toys model,   Notes (*): Siku wheels were replaced by Lion Toys' ones. A winch on the flatbed is to be built. The Corgi Toys model received insert tubes to have wheels more discarded. Regards. Guy

For some years now, China became the Factory of the World, Modeling is no exception with some products -with no builder markings, generally attributed to Sany , a multi-tasked important Chinese group - which can be easily compared to some products of the "free" world. An example:   Volvo FM13-P440 8x4/4 carrier truck with concrete pump and distribution arm XCMG HB48 (Sany model),   Regards. Guy

  - DAF FDT 3625 DKZ 8x4/4 tractor with TSU sheeted ballast box (370hp, PTAC: 36T, PTRA: 120T): model WSI to be modified(*), - 6-line modular trailer Scheuerle InterCombi L6 (??hp, PTAC: 96/276T, payload: 74.5/195.15T): model WSI to be modified(*)   Notes (*): The tractor needs its access ladder behind the cab glued. The modular trailer will receive an hydraulic power pack and protections on the lines linked rods. it should, in the end, carry a 80 tons Thomassen compressor, in its maritime transport box. Regards.
