Reo M35 6x6/2 truck (Corgi model) carrying 16 wooden crates (Corgi load) The "civilized" Texaco Reo 6x6 was normally sold with a Diesel tank and a small genset, both developed by Corgi for that sole model: Regards. Guy

The Ghe-O is an amazing model! I love the functional suspension, as well as the stretcher that is removable when you open the rear door. The removable tires are a great feature as well when you want to pose it being transported on a trailer. Thanks so much for sharing.

Production, from Solido/Verem models, of a French geophysics company fleet, built in AMG premises (St Gaudens - France) from demobilized WW2 vehicles (should be added to the CGG fleet a Failing drilling unit on a 6x6 GMC truck and a 4x4 Dodge light truck): - left: Dodge/AMG T223-WC62 6x6/2 truck fitted with a water tank (modified Verem model), - center: Chevrolet/AMG G7113 4x4/2 dropside truck fitted with a Lot 7 lifting gear (modified Verem model) carrying 6 explosives transport boxes (homemade), - right: General Motors Co/AMG CCKW 353 6x6/2 workshop truck (modified Verem vehicle and Corgi box models). Fitting in progress of Conrad elements on Cursor vehicles: - left: Magirus-Deutz 256 M 26 AK 6x6/2 truck with Meiller tipper (modified Cursor model and Conrad tipping unit), - right: Magirus-Deutz 256 D 26 AK 6x6/2 truck with Liebherr HTM 602 cement mixer (modified Cursor model and Conrad mixing drum). Early 80s, two long-distance Dutch transport combinations: - left: DAF FAT 2800 DKSE 6x4/2 sheeted dropside truck and DAF NTW 16.24 1+2-axle sheeted dropside drawbar trailer (modified Lion Car combination), - right: DAF FAD 3325 DKZ 8x4/4 sheeted dropside truck and Groenewegen 1+2-axle sheeted dropside drawbar trailer (modification of Lion Car combination in progress). A 4-axle truck, while authorized in several European countries was still prohibited in France till late 90s (its GVW was then limited to 26 tonnes, equal to the one of a 3-axle truck): Regards. Guy

In Holland still, but late seventies, at a period when the Dutch manufacturer was not only producing trucks, but also tankers, drawbar trailers and semi-trailers: - left: DAF FAT 2800 DHT 6x4/2 truck fitted with a DAF hydrocarbons tank body (modified Lion Car model), - right: DAF FT 2800 DKSE 4x2/2 tractor and DAF 2-axle hydrocarbons tank semi-trailer (Lion Car models being modified).. Last (but not least) Dutch road transport: Scania LB141 4x2/2 tractor (modified Tekno model) and Van Hool SZ 303 3-axle low-slung 20ft or 30ft container carrier chassis (homemade from an ex-Tekno semi-trailer), carrying a Dowell 20ft oilwell servicing chemicals container (homemade with 2 ex-Solido tanks) Regards.
