Steve, The Estepe truck transporter semi-trailer was first produced by Lion Toys/Tematoys, then re-issued by WSI with some minor improvements. Here is a link to Estepe TTT (Truck Transport Trailer): http://www.estepe.nl/en/special-vehicles/truck-transport-trailer--ttt-.aspx I didn't make any modification on these, except on the Renault Magnum/Estepe combination, where the (Lion Toys) king pin had to fit the (Joal) 5th wheel: I then use my "standard" king pin/5th wheel system, which fits all models, whatever brand they come from (see some examples below): - my standard King pin: - modified Conrad 5th wheel: - Modified Joal one: - upgraded Corgi 5th wheel: - modified standard white metal 5th wheel: I hope it helps. Guy thanks for the response and the link, that trailer is unique the way it fits the trucks on it. Your fifth wheel set up is also very unique with the way the pin moves back and forth to keep the king pin in places just like on the real rigs. Thanks for reavealing how you do it. Steve

A few pictures of the Azur Modélisme table at the 2013 "Menton Figurines Show". That year, Azur Modelisme members had chosen to display overseas transport models (I did provide some of them) and most of their Nicoletti equipment (local civil engineering company). The Nicoletti table: To be continued. Guy

Guy when you display these at a show what type of feedback does your team get from people who are vested in the Nicoletti company. They must be amazed that you guys customized these to represent their company. If I was them I would want these in the headquarters of the company, what an advertising marvel it would be for them and conversation piece. Steve

Hi Guy, very impressive collection you have! One think I like the most about it is your fleet of generators, and air compressors, I was not aware of Minicirque which was making them as kits.

Steve, Old members of the Nicoletti company staff enjoy very much to see these models at local shows. I didn't expand on Nicoletti but to summarize, that important civil engineering company in the Nice region during the seventies, faced some financial problems end of the eighties and 70% of its shares were bought by Tarmac (UK) in 1991. Later, the name changed to Carillion, which a few years later became Cari (2004). Cari have since been absorbed by the Fayat Group in 2010/2012. Fayat is today the fourth largest construction and civil engineering company in France and owns some reputable civil engineering equipment construction companies like the French Ermont and PTC, the German Bomag, the Italian Marini, etc: http://en.fayat.com/So no more Nicoletti headquarters entry hall to display these models! I hope it helps. Guy

Cat345bl, Minicirque is a resin models small producer, specialized in the circus ("cirque" in French) 1/43 and 1/50 units. They produced some gensets and a lot of other logistical support items (water tanks, caravans, air compressors, etc) easily found among all French circus. Link to the Minicirque website (in French, sorry): https://www.3mja.fr/I hope it helps. Guy

Guy not to worry about the Kenworth on the wrong side of the road I don’t believe anyone will play chicken with that set up. Thanks for the response and information on the Nicoletti company, what happened to them happens to the construction companies here also. I see the Fayat name in some of the trade magazines over here advertising their equipment. Also another great set of models and dioramas. Steve
