That is a fantastic looking model Paul,

It looks like YCC have raised the bar agaian when it comes to attention to detail like opening cab doors and engine covers, and the other details.

I have some of the early offerings from YCC and although they have lots of detail, they now suffer badly from the paint fading and parts falling off the model where the glue has dried out. I hope they have leaned from those mistakes and improved.

Ray...

Nostalgia is not what it used to be

It is a great model Ray. What I really like is that there are small changes between the 1:1 versions and most of these are replicated in the model. Things such as type and positioning of exhaust, position of chock block storage etc....

There have been improvements for sure!

First time I've seen silver cable on a model. How does it look in person? It kind of seems too bright in the pictures.
Don't get me wrong: I'd be happy to have this one on my shelf, even if it came with orange cable.

It's what comes with the model so thought I'd try it, but I'm not convinced! I think it wil be changed for some Musky Master.
