Took the opportunity today to add the luffer to the Chi Deh LTM 1500-8.1:

I am not usually a fan of plastic in a jib but I have to say, it works on this. Colour matching is very good and of course it a lot lighter. Have to chuckle though as WSI thoughtfully pre reeved the luffing winch and bridal etc... It was just a pity it was from the wrong drum and reeving was incorrect! But all in all, a great addition.

Looks very nice! I am waiting on 2 of the Chi Deh 11200s to get here. Shipped them on 10/28 and they still haven't arrived :( Waiting to hear back about the Chi Deh 1500. Good looking livery Smiley

Yes it's a great livery. My 11200 should be here next week, along with the MIC version.

Hi Paul, thanks for sharing the expansion of your collection. The Breuer and Chi Deh look solid. I hope that more of the LTM 1500 jibs come out for some of the other liveries.

Take care and I hope you've been well.

Hi Paul, that Neeb and Schuch LTM 1500 looks incredible. It will look really sharp with the upcoming ballast trailer. Are you planning on a tandem lift with the Neeb LR 1600? :D

On the tires, there seems to be a bit of residue (likely the mould release compound) does it wipe away okay? I'm not so impressed with the change WSI made to their crane tires whereby they can't be easily removed. Can the tires be removed on this crane or are they locked in place on the rim?

Thanks, take care and all the best over the holidays. PS Did you leave anything for under the tree? LOL!

Chandler,
Still some items under the tree Wink

The residue cleans off easily. I've not tried removing the tyres before but have been told it is not too easy.

Merry Christmas to you also.

Hi Paul, great to hear there are a few presents under the tree, it must have taken some serious restraint. LOL!

Glad that the residue cleans up easily. The reason I ask about the tires is because on a Felbermary 1350 I received it had a broken steering rod. The same problem happened on a Mammoet 1350 and I was able to replace the axle by removing the tires (required use of a soldering iron to melt the tabs and didn't want to melt the tire), but on the Felbermayr this wasn't possible so I had to put a metal pin into the steering rod for a definitive fix.

Hi Paul, the collection is looking sharp. I'm really excited for that Neeb LTM 1500 and the Felbermayr LR 1600. Thanks so much for the wonderful pics.

Take care, Merry Christmas (again), and all the best in the New Year.
