modelmaniac wrote:Love the MIC livery.Undoubtedly, they have the most colourful cranes.Very distinctive. The LTM 1800 looks really good.Is that a 'current' crane?Or,is it a historic piece? Still current but I don’t think MIC own it now. Paul R

Unless the new owners have it completely repainted,it will always be a MIC crane.

Nice job on the repaint, Paul! I also love seeing your photos of each LTM1500 livery. WSI should have you make their catalog for them. Dave

Paul your photos are beautiful as always! I love the port services LTM, I’m about 3/4 of my way through a LTM1200 repaint into GPS just need to sort decals and the fly jib at some point, debating on wether to get the 1500 while I’m at it! Although I would love to pick up a YCC LTM1800 just waiting on the opportunity of the right livery to pop up however I think we are running out of liveries to be produced lol

I didn’t know they had a 1200 to be honest. Might have to investigate that option myself as I’ve a spare 1200 here. Also considered the 6300L but that model is so expensive! Friend of mine has painted the AC1000/9, LG1750 6300L, some trucks and is part way through a LTM 1800 in Baldwin’s! I’d like to do Baldwin’s 6300L and LG1750 but again, they’re expensive models and the LG is hard to find now. Take care, Paul R

They don’t have a LTM1200 but they do have a LTM1220 which was close enough for my factory colour 1200 to get the treatment! The grove 6300L would look nice in both Baldwin’s and GPS however like you say, it is very expensive, but a Baldwin’s LTM1800 would be a fantastic model! I’m thinking my next repaint may be the luffer for the 350 Sam

Lovely pics as always Paul. Great repaint on the AC1000, and the Global Port Services LTM 1500 looks especially nice as it reminds me a lot of the Michielsens livery (my favourite).
