Paul, Just a small typo. I believe you meant AC45, rather than AC54. Your posts are noticed. It's just that most people don't respond. How do you like the Sarens by IMC ? You always take quality pictures. You must have an impressive collection from all these pictures.

Paul, I always look forward to your posts. My collecting has been somewhat curtailed after becoming a father, and I live vicariously through your pictures. They are the next-best thing to having the cranes on my shelf. I've missed some really nice models in the last 8 years, but at least I know where to look at them. Thanks for keeping up on your end! Dave

Outstanding! I have the LG1550 and it's magnificent. Did Wiesbauer use the same chassis with the tele-boom, or was the LTM1800 a completely different machine?

Really nice models Paul, great to see you're still adding to the collection. I really like that Schot ltm 1500. When are we going to see those new ltm 11200's as well as that Thomen LR 1600 rigged up?

When are we going to see those new ltm 11200's as well as that Thomen LR 1600 rigged up? I have not bought a new 11200 for a while now. In fact I have sold 3-4 of them! LR1600/2 Thomen will be rigged. I am waiting on YCC walkways for it but have painted a hanging ballast tray already, as the real one does not use the wheeled ballast wagon. Always seemed strange to me that NZG and/or Liebherr went to the bother of casting and making the wheeled ballast tray when most of the models released so far do not actually use one! Most seem to use the suspended version. Thanks for your interest - I am glad someone still is Next update might be the Mammoet AC700/9 :d/ :d/ Paul R

Paul, I always look forward to your updates. The Thoemen LR1600 reminds me of pictures from way back when, of the LR1750 that Thoemen bought from Wasel, almost new. The boom never got repainted before it went to work for Thoemen, and I believe that the boom is still blue. I'm pretty sure that Wasel had the setup where the assist crane would be suspended, by its outriggers, from the derrick mast, to act as ballast for raising the boom. There were also outriggers on the side of the crawler, on the side facing the boom. That Thoemen LG1550 is one of my all-time favorite cranes. It was the one that got damaged in an accident involving a retaining wall failure, and Nolte's then-new LG1750 was used to pull it out of the mud. There were great photos of the whole incident on Hansebube, but over the years, the links to a lot of the photos have gone dead. Thanks for the great photos of the great models! Dave
