Had a small package day today comprising of the Sarens Scania and LTM1050-3.1 of which I'll take a few pics at a later date. This was also in the same package and is one of my favourite liveries to date:

I took these outside just now whilst it was dark and used a photography technique called 'painting'. Turned out not too bad I thought and may try again when I have more time.

Good luck there. They are not that easy to come by! But I am hoping more H N Krane models are done as there is a lot of scope there with the LG, 112 and the TGX trucks they run.

Picked my McNallys AC500-2 up at the Europe Model show and first job was to change the decals!

Before

After

And the real machine

Many thanks to Marcus for sending me the photos.

My updated model is far from perfect and I think I should have made the Windhoist logo larger on the main boom. Rickys model also has yellow on the Windhoist logo but it is difficult to pick out on the real machine so I left it out. There are also some more decals to add that I ran out of but on the whole, I think it looks okay and a little more typical of the real machine.

Thanks,

Paul R

Joking and low blows aside this model looks superb Paul, and I'm sure you didn't have to toil for 40 days and nights to get to this beautiful and accurate end product, all it took was a little bit of referring to pics of the real machine,TFS

Why is "phonetically" spelt with a "ph"?

... It's better to be silent and thought a fool, then to speak up and remove all doubt

The complex of Newgrange was originally built between c. 3100 and 2900 BC,[2] meaning that it's aproximately 5,000 years old. According to Carbon-14 dates,[3] it is more than 500 years older than the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt, and predates Stonehenge by about 1,000 years.

You're right there Graham. Just a little attention to detail is all it took.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Dear all,
Here is the latest addition to my crane collection: the LG1550 SLK in Riga Mainz. I have only set up part of it right now as I ran out of time last night. I took these photos this morning as the weather is really very nice here!

I am hoping to set up the rest of it this evening or tomorrow.

A great looking livery in my opinion!

Well I gave it a go this evening. What a SOB!!! First crane in a long time I had to give up on. Perhaps try again tomorrow when I've calmed down a bit.

The easy part!

A real pain in the ass to rig but makes for a fantastic model! Boom already back in the box though Sad
